My Home Pick

I've decided to broaden my horizons a bit and change my Wednesday post to be more of a general home pick.  Seeing as I was already stretching the limits of the term "primitive" with some of My Primitive Picks, it just makes sense to make the change.  I'm also hoping that expanding into all areas of the home will be more appealing to many of you who wouldn't classify yourself as having a primitive style.  So now on Wednesdays in addition to decorative pieces and tips, you can expect to find my picks for household organization, cleaning, and crafting.  I guess you never quite know what will pop up on a Wednesday, so stay tuned!

For now, I'll leave you with a link to a blog I've seen fellow bloggers referencing lately and had to check out for myself (A bowl full of lemons - blog).  I enjoy keeping my house fairly organized, but upon reading some of the posts on this blog I'm become completely convicted about certain areas of disorganization in my home.  I've become so intrigued by the 21 Day Challenge that I may just jump on the bandwagon and begin.  It is that time of year for spring cleaning, right?  Anyone else with me on this?

  1. I'm with ya! I'm like you...if you were to walk in my house you wouldn't think "wow...this is very disorganized!". Our house is pretty organized and functional (Josh and I HATE clutter!). But, there are many areas that are 'behind closed doors' that are definitely NOT organized, or really functional for that matter. I feel like I have the daily chores and clean up routine figured out (for now, until baby comes)...and it will feel great to have all of those behind the scenes area's taken care of as well.

  2. Yes! And now that the nicer weather is arriving, Jadon wants to spend all of his time outside, which means less time for me to be doing things inside. So I'm thinking I should try to get things in ship-shape before summer hits and we are out and about. I've enjoyed seeing your pics of your 21 Day Challenge! You're doing well!
